Brief update: Melbourne

Dia huit,

Melbourne is fabulous and cold (13C days, 9C nights). Bear event so far is fun. I've not been here since 91 and the soul and passion of Melbourne continues to move me.

Sorry Sydneysiders, just a personal preference. Don't feel slighted.

Scored a copy of the new Harry Potter and am already transfixed. Off to read some.

And I very much deeply miss my man Max, aka querrelle. Wah!

I'm 4th in line to borrow professor Winnie's. He picked his up at midnight and by the time I went round for dinner the next day he was up to page 400 or so... he likes it! And since you have your own copy, can I borrow yours instead. It's a perfect holiday read, is it not?
