All went well this morning. Got about 6 hours of sleep (with no gut spasms or, uh, leakage), showered, brushed teeth, married husband, began the 10 minute waddle up the hill. We were due to have 5-10cm of snow last night; I encountered slush and sleet.
Intake was seamless, all staff were excellent, Dr. Ramji apologized for the RotoRouter prep required and then they pumped in some Demerol and benzo. And then ......it was 2.5 hours later, I was in recovery and my bum didn't hurt. In short order I was brought muffins cheese and juice to break the fast and was allowed to dress. Dr. Ramji advised there were no polyps, no inflammation, though he took a couple of biopsies--but everything looked fine. So I'll see him for a follow-up in about a month.
I then waddled over to Robson Street, picked up some stuff at Body Shop, and then rubbed a Wendy's Single with Cheese over my nipples. *burp*
On the bus home sorta nodded off. So I'll be staying close to home until the drugs wholly wear off.
Thanks to all for their kind words yesterday. Very much appreciated. A lot.
