I wish Qantas would do the same thing. Maybe some competition on the route between Australia and North America will sort them out. I want to come to Vancouver later this year. So I will probably fly to Sydney to get the Qantas plane to San Fran, and then get a flight from there to Vancouver. Two great cities in one trip!
And Air Canada flies direct Sydney-Vancouver (stops in Honolulu and those fuckwit Americans make you get off the plane, go through customs, then get back on).
