At the start of the chocaholics/architecture walking tour of Melbourne. And here's the view of Flinders Street Station, upon whose steps we boldly trod:

And here's a Melbourne trolley (not a tram, as I was repeatedly corrected) in front of SBS:




Finally, sinnabor emailed me this shot of me--he was here for Mardi Gras and we didn't run into each other...for this shot he was actually snapping the furry bum of a bear in chaps--I happened to get in the shot. And for those who might be concerned about my, uh, colouring--I always where SPF 15. I'm black Oirish and this is what we look like in summer.

What are those 3 bldgs and can I find a place to get an unobstructed view of them? I'm not teaching art appreciation this fall but it's good to have images of various bldgs to look at and discuss.

Flinders St Station and SBS (Special Broadcasting Service) are both in Melbourne. Get thine (search) engines running!
