Well this one puts Quizzilla to shame. Doubtless my Aunt Eileen (Sr. Eileen Egan, Mother General, Dorothian Sisters) would be pleased STAq (St. Thomas Aquinas) came out on top. As is 'La Peste' (the Plague). Karl told me the other day that this one was probably the most significant book he ever read, and continues to shape his outlook.

yes definitely! And so too is The Fall. one of the great "d'ohs" of intercultural literature is the misapprehension of the term existential. Anglophones too often take it as nihilism. It can also mean living fully and vibrantly in the now.

I can't remember what The Fall is about, though I vaguely remember not particularly enjoying it. Must have another crack at it....maybe in the original this time.
