It's Friday arvo and unless OurHolyMother zaps it away, this fecking cold is gonna carry into the weekend. I don't mind missing work, but the weekend is no time to be ill. And this has totally gutted my snog/root/cuddle time with

querrelle. Jawn so not happy.

Ahem.

Did pull myself together to get some sundries (more echinacea, zinc lozenges, tissues, some grocs), and it's a gorgeous day in Sydney. I was awake at 05h00 (cough cough), and the entire downtown was fogged in: rather than a sunrise there was a luminous glow that increased as the sun rose. I passed out again sometime around 08h00--when I got up at 10h30 the sky was already blue. And the morning sun warms up my flat nicely, so it's especially welcome in this building with no heat.

I'll try to stay up late tonite (23h00 or so) and call NY for the combo birfday: Dad, Mike, Uncle Kevin and one of my nieces. All 27 June. Freaky eh? My other brother and one of our nephews also share a birthday (03 October), but when there are a gazillion of you in the family, it's bound to happen.
