We're in the renew when you wanna phase of our mobile contract, and so I've renewed mine today--and got a new phone for a whopping $38:



I like the Sony Ericsson interface and the operating system. So does my Mac. This puppy has a built in FM radio, can take M2 memory sticks (I grabbed a 1GB one in addition to the 256MB that comes pre-loaded), and it's purdy (silver). But like all electronics it hates me because it wants me to wait 2.5 fucking hours for its first charge. How is instant graitification supposed to work, hanh?

In other news querrelle rocked it last night but good. Then went for a wee skate and sushi. Today we'll try to nab a table at the Boathouse Deck before the cruise ship hoards manage to waddle down this-a-way.

anyone know where I can get the unlock key for my phone if I have the IMEI #? Thanks to phone portability, my carrier doesn't unlock them anymore.

Fido unlocked a phone for me a few years back. Probably 5 years though. I can pay someone to do, but free is better. :)

And I know how to hack the thing to wholly work with iSync/Address Book etc. :)

It's not easy to do for free, but it can be done for a small charge from various websites. It's usually easier and safer to have it done by your local shady phone unlocker than giving your credit card details to a Russian Mafia gang over the global interweb thingy though.

In a store here they charge around £15, versus £4 online. My bank's great on the fraud stuff: if anything goes awry they stop it immediately.
