One of my earliest experiences with shareware remains one of my best: Graphic Converter.

This handy, user-focussed, powerful little application is great for all sorts of quick-n-dirty digital image manipulation. Even creating animated GIFs. I paid US$25 for it about 10 years ago, for version 3 or 4. And always got free upgrades...until today.

v.6 has asked me to pay, and pay I have--gladly. US$19.95. Developers have totally earned it.

Just passing through via friendsfriends...do you know of a good user manual for Graphic Converter? I'm pretty clumsy with it and have a hard time using it for icons or anything else other than improving color/contrast of photos.

I've been using as my default viewer for a while now, and finally liscenced it as part of my MacHeist haul- and i was most pleased to be getting the liscense, too. I went for the version 6 upgrade with enthusiasm, but the first package I got from thier site was corrupt, and the second crashed out halfway through the upgrade process. third time was the charm, hopefully- it's working, biut i just hope it keeps working well...
