Sep. 6th, 2007 05:11 pmMy week caught up with an hour or so ago. Luckily this occurred at home, so I'm now in bed, with cuppa, and updating my class list. After putting some fuel in the fire in the form of fruit salad. Because
querrelle isn't tuting ce soir, so we will be going for a skate. *squee*
The first week of term is both enervating and tiring for me, but this week is also when the next phase of data collection for my study has begun in earnest. I've done 4 interviews (of 12) so far, with 2 more next week. I'll also start shaking down the remaining 6 to set up times. I hope to have them all in the can well before the end of September, so they can be transcribed and circulated back to each participant. That will still only leave a month to analyze those data...though, truth be told, I'll be analyzing iteratively so long as I'm writing from it.
After the butt pain of Saturday, I swapped out the old new router for a new new router. A Linksys, which is a brand I've had much better experiences with than D-Link. And this was seamless, including setting the port-specific application stuff for ISPQ. Yup, even the VPN works well. And it looks kewl too:

Too bad my MacBookPro isn't one of the ones whose Airport Extreme card is tweakable to N-standard wifi.
