Sep. 21st, 2007 09:01 amMy workshop yesterday went well, my classes went well this week, I completed my motorcycle course (though I'll do one more practice road test a couple of days before the actual test), and ICBC settled my claim for the scooter: $2300 plus "a GST coupon for $132". Apparently I can buy 2g worth of blow if I don't wanna replace the bike. But Stephen Harper will snark out if I use any of the GST. Considering I paid $2600 (plus onroads and taxes) for the bike 1.5 years ago, that's a fair settlement to me.
To motorcycle or to maxi-scooter: that is question.
Today I will do some prep for next week's classes, but otherwise not a fucking thing. Except ablutions and laundry. Having not had one last week I so totally understand why I need my weekends.
Oh, and I need a job, stat. Mine ends 31 October. Well paying, interesting, and in Vancouver please. Will spread for tenure track...
