Yesterday was getting things done day. Laundry, dry cleaning. Then we went skating with Angus and Vic, followed by hawt chocolate and a good yammer chez nous. The lads are keen to buy some ice skates now: OMG we may well have a wee gay skating posse for saturday nights! Next Saturday the 4 of us will take in the Canadian Figure Skating Championships (men's and pairs'finals, at least).

This morning I got up early to go cross country skiing with toneyvr. We drove all the way up, only to find a mountain socked in with fog and mist. Rather than piss $17 each away, we opted to come back down and have a lovely brekkie. Lovely as in cold. Here's a tip: if you're merely gonna nuke someone's pancakes, take a look at their plate first--the one with my tooth marks innit was a dead giveway. Red Umbrella are usually pretty good though...ask the lovely (though unwell this weekend) siko_md.

I am in bed, knocking a bit of work on the head. Later there will be shopping, shopping, and sodomy.

The Scarlet Brollie is normally very good, but when they are busy, like a weekend morning, the staff can get a bit frazzled. I hope it doesn't deter you from going there again, it's by far the bestest breakie joint around these days.
And yes, I'm feeling a million times better this morning, almost went to the hospital last night, but was in to much pain to get out of bed.
