jawnbcI picked up the scooter today. And for the 1.4km drive from the shop home it was a joy to ride. But I'm not entirely an eejit: when the temperature in downtown Vancouver gets down to around 2C, time to park the bike. So I'll be on transit for work in the morning--besides I am going boarding after work anyways.
Insurance wasn't too bad ($747), though I opted for 3rd party liability only: it's parked in underground secure parking at home and work, and has an immobilizer.
And enough built-in storage to fit anything I'd need to schlep back and forth to work.
