toneyvr. The roads were frosty--the access road treacherous, really--but with 4WD and an excellent driver, we made it up the hill in no time flat.
Conditions? Heavenly! About 10cm of fresh snow, freshly groomed. The clouds clearing to a blue, sunny sky (and a crisp -4C). We fairly bolted up Hollyburn/Short Cut/Lower Telemark/Sitzmark/Pop Fly to Upper Powerline. Then a sprint up Pacific before skiing down Upper/Lower Mowbratten/Jack Pratt/Sitzmark to the Lodge for un chocolate chaud. Then out to Lower Poweriline via Zig Zag/Roller Coaster/Old Rope Tow/ Lower Telemark/Sitzmark. We were at the car for 10h30.
This arvo? I'm gonna snowboad on Grouse whilequerrelle skates on their outdoor rink. Just an hour or so, before heading back down for dinner and Sweeney Todd.
