For semifinal 1:

Marginal: San Marino, Slovenia
Wild cards: Azerbaijan, Andorra

Final prediction: Greece, Russia, Romania, Armenia, Bosnia, Ireland, Belgium, San Marino, Slovenia
Jury's pick: Norway


For semi-final 2:



Should qualify: Bulgaria, Denmark, Switzerland, Georgia,
Marginal: Iceland, Ukraine, Croatia, Malta, Macedonia, Portugal
Wild cards:Latvia

Final prediction: Bulgaria, Denmark, Switzerland, Georgia, Ukraine, Croatia, Malta, Macedonia, Portugal
Jury's pick: Sweden

And if I have to pick a winner for each semi: Romania and Switzerland

Some of your predictions I agree with wholeheartedly.

But, I think the only thing that Ireland has over Estonia is the draw. Other than that, I don't see how you've given a "1" as "Songtype" for Estonia and "3" for Ireland -- the two songs are quite similar (re: loud, unlistenable, joke entries).

Ireland has a melody, a complete lyric, and is well produced. Estonia ain't none of those.

wow... I can't believe that it's that time of the year again. I wasn't expecting your prediction for a while now. I have to say that I'm a little hooked up on the some of the national finals and I've been listening to some of the songs from there more often than who's made it through to eurovision.

This is great. I'm going to have to start seriously listening to them over the Easter break and come up with my semi predictions which has a success rate of less than 60% but it'll be fun to compare.
