Being Easter Monday, me no work today. querrelle...not so lucky.

After a rousing lie-in (until 07h20, go me), I awoke hungry so I made a cuppa and 3 pieces of toast with margarine and strawberry compote. And my appetite's not returned since, though I did force myself to eat some lunch (Wendy's spicy chook fillet; saved the salad for another time). Now I've a slightly sour stomach, but not as bad as Saturday.

I also snapped my glasses on the weekend, but truth be told they're already failing me both for distance and reading. New job means new coverage so I got my eyes examined, got a new 'script, picked out new frames and will pick 'em up in a bit over a week (progressives plus I went for the no glare option). For an extra $50 I got a pair of reading glasses for bedtime.

Of course, the eye exam has rendered my eyes thusly:



That was 2 hours ago...imagine how they looked then!

It'l like I just walked out of Mardi Gras or the Saint....but not dripping with sweat, grinning ear to ear, and in lurve with, oh, everyone ever!

I have no idea. Just that I could read better with the newer one. Plus I went for the anti-glare, since glare at night is a huge issue for me.

I'm glad you went for the anti glare. You'll find them harder to clean but I recommend liquid dish detergent as cleaning agent (or I'll bring you some cleaner), soft natural cloth, and most importantly polishing. A quick wipe of the lenses doesn't do it, you must move your hand back and forth across the lenses for a few minutes. Much like something else I'm sure you're used to doing.

As for me (thank you for asking) I'm doing "OK". Sorry I haven't called or come by in awhile, but lately I feel like I've been such a sad sack I didn't want to bring other people down. Even my bestest friend hasn't seen me all that much lately.

No word today. and I wanted to give Da a break so I didn't call.

I'll ring tomorrow and see if my sister can get me details about the hospital so I can send flowers.
