Saw Mamma Mia today, finally. I think I was the only gayer 40+ in the world who'd not seen it--and I love ABBA. Pierce Brosnan deserves the balls of the year award for singing so badly so often. I enjoyed it, but it's not a filum one should see on one's own during a mid-week day off in lieu. Similarly I follow men's gymnastics not for the bodies, but for the sport itself.

A parcel today brought my official Radio One mug (a prize for entering a faux game several months ago). And my 3 books on the ex-Yugo wars are enroute from Amazon.ca.

I haven't seen it yet. Do I have to turn in my gay card?

(I saw it onstage a couple years ago when a touring company came through Salt Lake City -- I thought it was gawdawful. The book is agonizingly bad, with a plot lifted from an '80's miniseries starring Phoebe Cates. I seriously expected the lead to gather her three potential dads in one room and screech "which one of you BASTARDS is my FATHER?")
