I felt it was going to be good (she does have sportscaster experience) and it was, for what it was.

Thing is, she didn't provide reasons to vote for her, or McCain.

It felt a little nagging and hate-filled.

Which is exactly what a ton of America likes.

I'll stick with my guns. It's a long way til the election.

I actually voted for Sonia Johnson that year. I was 18 and not especially wise.

First half of her speech was an almost word for word rehash of Friday's speech.
Definitely an appeal to good ol' boys.
But I will be curious to see her debate Biden.

She'd make a fully competent FOX journalist media personality. She, & the McCain campaign, have clearly abandoned the swing/undecided voters for the far right voters who might have stayed home. I'm no more convinced it'll work than before, and shrill & condescending might not be the tone needed to bring them out.
