Can anyone help this eejit set up an RSS feed for his LJ FRIENDS page?

Eejit already tried following the directions therein. And directions on someone else's LJ page.

I could help you set up an rss feed for each friend, but not for all the friends on your friend's page at once ... afaik livejournal doesn't support that as qnetter implies.

I guess there might be away to do it still ... but that's beyond my current knowledge.

I've been thinking of creating a "My Best Friends" page in my rss reader ... you will never even know if you're on it or not. Hypothetically.

There are a number of places on here where it's ostensibly doable...but danged if I can follow the instructions.

Ok. I think I just figured out how to do it... but I don't want you to go to any trouble either.

Catch me some time, and we'll try to work it out together if another one of your smart friends doesn't help you out first.

Type this in the box

set trusted_s1 670763

Hit the execute button.

The site will say: User property 'trusted_s1' set to '670763' for zurcherart (or jawnbc as the case may be)

Go to this link:

http://jawnbc.livejournal.com/data/customview?styleid=670763&checkcookies=1

Bookmark it.

That should be your RSS feed. If you aren't already logged in, of if your RSS reader isn't browser based, you won't see the filtered posts from your friends.
