So many good songs already, hard to say. But I'll take a stab and say it's down to:
UK It's My Time Jade (find her performance at the Greek national final on youtube--wow) Denmark Believe Again Brinck (could easily be a worldwide hit) Iceland Is It True [insert icelandic name her] class act of the field
Tonight it's Norway and Bulgaria, both of which features strong songs (though I hate the one that's probably gonna win Norway, Fairytale by Alexander Rybak).
I actually really like Finland's Homeless Angel of Death dance song by Waldo's People! *grin* It'a ain't Lordi, but what is?
Grafa's "Vrag" is a wild card into the Bulgarian final, but I have to love it after getting it translated via LJ Friend tilia_tomentosa! I hope it wins today!
And Denmark's "Believe Again" has the pretty-boy upbeat vibe, but Brinck just isn't... strong enough. If Germany's "Miss Kiss Kiss Bang" had a dance mix rather than the retro-swing, he has a great voice, but it's too twee.
Dum Tek Tek made me want to dance! And she's like the Turkish Shakira!
Of the ballads, I love the Iceland entry too, but I think it has the same problem as Jade's: they just aren't just not "deep" enough, I think, pretty, but a little slow... Which leads us to France. It's pretty, but I fell asleep.
I'm not familiar with Jade, can she hit that glory note live? I think that Lidia from Poland has a gorgeous voice and seems to have more power!
Of the rest, um. Sorry, didn't love Sinead... I love the Eighties, but...
So I think Poland, Iceland and UK will have strong chances, and I think Turkey and Denmark and Finland will make it in, but not do well.
