Interesting how the popular commentary changes as time passes. At work today the main topic was whether any stores would give away free stuff because of the anniversary this year. Many of the participants in said conversation were the ones who in previous years went on about how they looked at a brochure on vacations in NYC a month before the attacks actually happened but then decided not to go and how they were so personally affected and should have a day off of work. Guess the tone hasn't changed that much after all. Exploitation happens on a lot of levels, disgraceful as it is to note.
