The lovely stoplabelingme  asks If you had to redo your master's thesis today, what topic would you choose?

My first reaction is...I wouldn't redo it. I picked it because it was manageable, interesting, and manageable. I was advised not to pick a topic so very important to me that the stakes of doing it less than awesomely would remain low.

Cowardly? I prefer pragmatic. :)

I took the Master's exam option. Mostly because, had i done a thesis, the powers-that-were wanted me to work on discourse analysis, which I hate.
