He murdered people I grew up with.
He tried to destroy my hometown.
He attacked my homeland.
He exploited poor people and asked them to make sacrifices he wouldn't ask of his own family. Or himself.
He shamefully used others' faith when all he really wanted was power.
He promoted ignorance.
He subjugated women.
He fought democracy and peace.

I'm glad he's dead. I'm sad it took so many years to get him. I hope some of his victims' families find some comfort in his being brought to justice.
