Je suis revenu à Vancouver

Have been in Soviet Canuckistant™ since last Friday. The annual "Learneds" Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences meeting is at UBC all week. I gave three papers at three different societies:

• Adult Education
• Higher Education
• Sexuality Studies

Which, combined with jet lag, was fairly shattering. But also awesome. We have a few days of holidays before we fly home on Sunday. The adult education folks are having another shindig at UBC this time next year, so we'll be back! 
As is often the case, Vancouver has given us both June (warm and sunny) and January (cool and moist) days.
