A very good Canajun filum
Sep. 23rd, 2003 11:27 pmJust in from seeing Mambo Italiano, a deft little comedy about life, love and that gay thang. Set in the Italian community of Montréal. Reviews have been mixes, but my pals all thought it very good.
Not "pretty good for a Canuck film" good. Very good. Clever, warm, engaging. Oh, and some hawt manmeat too.
What was surprising is that Mary Walsh, aka Marg Delahunty, was the weak link in an otherwise strong cast.
You'll laugh, you'll cry, you prolly won't hurl, but you may get a stiffie. Vas-y donc.
