Do you know Becki Ross, whom I believe also teaches at UBC? She and I were on the collective of Rites Magazine, a queer left/feminist/anti-racist publication in the late eighties...

ja, albeit not well. I did go to the Cecil Hotel with her and bunch of queers once--she was researching women strippers on the West coast
