Fook me raw with a chainsaw, it took hours and all sorts of tweaks, but the iPod she works! Eventually I had to zap the hard drive and start from scratch. But it works...and now I only have to reload another 4500 songs to be where I was before the new update was installed. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] beastbriskett for good suggestions.

After getting off track on Wednesday (it's not all roses), [livejournal.com profile] querrelle and I were back on track by last night. Dinner, a DVD (Monsoon Wedding, quite good), lots of cuddles and smooches and hot sticky man-man lovin'. Agressive, intensive cuddling swapping most of the night, then a lie-in for me whilst he rose and did some non-work work. Oh, and fab morning round of "hide the purple pony." Wiggle, wiggle.

We hit Oxford Street for lunch, then wandered around the shops in Paddington. Since the commute from Drummoyne to homo beaches ain't great (1.5 hours each way in some cases, over an hour regardless), I wanted to get a beach chair for use at the pool here (the apartment complex has a large outdoor pool and a sauna). We zipped over to the Broadway Centre, but no luck--this is a beach nation, why amn't there beach chairs for sale? So we trecked to the Australian equivalent of Homo Depot (though the only queers besides us seemed to be an über-lesbian couple), where we found kewl camping cots that also double as loung chairs. Two of those and then off we toddled to home. Max is chilling upstairs and I'm loading music into iTunes. Tonight it's Bears.

I'm pleased with where I am in life for the most part, but I'm keenly looking forward to being here in Sydney with his nibs without a clock ticking for my next departure. Which will start on 30 December, after Christmas in Nu Yawk with the family.

Every relationship will have its bumps. Lord knows, I have had more than my share with David. Most of them are due to me and my stress anxiety when I forget to take my Effexor to balance my serotonin. Over time, he has learned to recognize the signs of when I am gettting moody and ready to snap.
The main thing we have learned, and it seems you and Max are heading the same way, is it is all about communications.
Glad things are well for you and you are home to see you hubby for a while. Wish things were better for you mum. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Glad to hear you got the iPod to finally work. Hope you enjoy the sun, relish your time with Querrelle, and get sticky many many more times!

Sorry about the rough spots, but it sounds like you worked it out. Sticky man-man lovin' is good. Yay!
