We had a wonderful day yesterday, after a less-than-wonderful Saturday. Suffice to say there were issues and concerns and tears, but it all seems sorted.
Our Sunday included being the sole Harbour City Bears to show up for Bear Beach Day at Little Congwong/La Perouse. It was sunny and 24C, but there were clouds afoot so most stayed away. We ate KFC. Max read The Economist. I listened to my re-configured iPod. Lovely.
We popped in at Grumpy's on Oxford for café and reading the papers, then nipped home for buckets o' luvin, before joining Pete-n-Murray for roast dinner at The Manacle. And then we Shifted: tunes included Atomic, Venus, Knock on Wood, Go West, Why, blah blah blah. We sang ourselves hoarse, we danced ourselves legless. We were home by 23h20, more rockin', then sleep.
Today I'm on the Chesterfield, marking papers and contemplating testing out the new beach chairs à la piscine. After lunch.
Wow, the holiday's already more than half over. Wah!
