When I lived in Hawaii, two buddies had a dog like that. It was called Shrimp. At the beach, I'd pick Shrimp up by the hind quarters; he'd go all droppy as I lowered his face sacrificially into my mouth, while my friends screamed "PUPPY SACRIFICE!"
Shrimp wasn't very bright though. He ran off their 12th story balcony.
