You don’t have to be mean to be not nice. Finally I get it: not a nice person! Not cruel, not wholly self-involved, but lacking consideration, tact, and the possibility that others might have an equally legitimate ethos wholly different to yours.

edgy and nice aren't mutually exclusive. And our jobs require intensity; that's compatible with nice too. I tried to avoid the "good person" thang, but maybe that captures it better.

Nice doesn't mean doormat neither, unh.
