piggybacking: is there a good store in vancouver for francophone music? my claire pelletier galileo was killed by a boston pothole, and i'd like to replace it when i'm in town.

I just did a search on the A & B Sound website and they have it.

If it's not in stock at that particular location there are many other record stores. I'm not aware of an exclusive francophone record store but there certainly are enough francophones in Vancouver so they must go somewhere unless they're all listening to Canto-pop.

A&B is your best bet; if not there, archambeault.ca (.com?) is Montréal's major music store and they have a good online catalogue.

merci! i bought the original at archambault's uqam store on ste. catherine (my fave, closely followed by their laval outlet); they're also now licensing e-downloads, and i toyed with doing it that way. between my québecoises and bic runga, i'm developing a taste for ladies hard to find in the states <grin>.

Besides, I guess I'm into fluids. They are more interesting to me than solids. And despite his fluid (gray?) values, it's not like he's a loose cannon. You've got a pretty good idea where his balls will fall. I appreciate consistency - even if it's fluid. Consistency suggests character, which I guess is more important to me than values - less heirarchical.

edgy and nice aren't mutually exclusive. And our jobs require intensity; that's compatible with nice too. I tried to avoid the "good person" thang, but maybe that captures it better.

Nice doesn't mean doormat neither, unh.
