You can read his account of it here, but for those who don't read Max's blog he was bashed last night.

Suffice to say I'm choked with anger, want to envelope him in a perma-cuddle, and have a instinctive urge to ride the #239 again and again, pummelling each anglo male adolescent who boards it. Ooooh, that's not very social justice of me.

It's a feeling, it's visceral, it shall pass. But don't fuck with my people.

When someone near and dear to me was assaulted, they didn't let me know right away, possibly because they expected my gut reaction when they told me, which was "Do I need to buy a gun and shoot this person?" It sort of just slipped out. I was that upset.

It'll pass, but I understand the feeling. Hugs to you and to Max. I've got you both in a mental perma-cuddle from here.
