Nov. 28th, 2006 10:05 pmThe last 2 nights in a row I went nordic (cross country) skiing in Stanley Park--something one gets to do perhaps a couple of times a decade, since downtown Vancoouver is the last place snow starts to stick. And the first place it starts to melt, being at (mostly) sea level and all. Here's one kewl-ish (though not crisp) photo I took last night with my eejit camera:

And here's one of our view this morning. On the odd occassion we are snow bound here on the Wacky Wet Coast™, the clouds usually obscure the mountains. Everyone here was abuzz with the magical mountains across the Sound:
