The last 2 nights in a row I went nordic (cross country) skiing in Stanley Park--something one gets to do perhaps a couple of times a decade, since downtown Vancoouver is the last place snow starts to stick. And the first place it starts to melt, being at (mostly) sea level and all. Here's one kewl-ish (though not crisp) photo I took last night with my eejit camera:



And here's one of our view this morning. On the odd occassion we are snow bound here on the Wacky Wet Coast™, the clouds usually obscure the mountains. Everyone here was abuzz with the magical mountains across the Sound:

yay- i think it is great that you are getting to experience some snow for winter!! If you are not cold enough you can head out to -24C Calgary for a bit!! :-P
