Grade one: one happy chappy
Oct. 30th, 2005 04:34 pmOriginally, purely, I was a sweet, sweet boy. I smiled, I sang, I laughed, I hugged. I wanted everyone to like me, but I also pretty much liked everyone else too. Mrs. Fay, an ould skool primary school teacher (who no doubt attended Normal School rather than teacher's college was nurturing and tough. We all felt special, we all wanted to please her by doing our best. As far as I can remember, she never shamed any of us. Even when she flunked me for penmanship.
My penmanship, btw, still sux. But I'm a frickin' doctor, so neener neener!
